Dixon Van Hoozer-Bowles is an Orlando-based choreographer, educator, and creative director known for bold storytelling, high standards, and a deep commitment to young artists. Trained at Utah Valley University and hired by Disney Jr. Live while still completing his studies, Dixon has taught and choreographed for studios, high schools, universities, and national competitions across the country.

Since relocating to Florida in 2016, he has worked as a studio director, musical theatre choreographer, competition judge, and masterclass instructor. At Celebration Arts Academy, Dixon created the studio’s competitive dance program from the ground up, leading it to major success in just four seasons. Now entering its fifth year under his direction, the program continues to grow in both talent and recognition. He currently serves as Competition Director and Lead Choreographer, leading with energy, empathy, and purpose.

Dixon also toured nationally as a Tour Director with Fly Dance Competition, bringing strong leadership, efficiency, and heart to every event. He’s known for giving honest, actionable feedback and always putting the dancers first.

Above all, Dixon is driven by a love for dance and a belief in its power to shape lives.
